Reading Minute!

For a while now I have been reading a novel titled The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.  It is a book where the very first page tells you that the main character of the book is dead. I know you might be a little confused by this, as was I when i first read that page but then as you continue to read it is a really cool story.  I am only on page 88 but the first 88 pages of this book are about a girl named Susie Salmon who was raped and killed.  Drastic beginning i know!  Then it begins to explain her living in heaven and what that is like.  She explains heaven as anything you want it to be, so Susie really enjoys playing jump-rope and there are jump-ropes in her heaven!  Another cool thing about this description of heaven is that Susie being up above everyone can now watch what's going on down on earth, so she can watch the funeral for her, she can watch the man that raped her NOT get caught, and many other things.  I highly recommend this book to any females for sure and guys I'm not so sure you will like this one but hey, ya never know!
